In 1999, Jusendo General Hospital received the authorization, noting that it met the standards of a general hospital defined by Japan Council for Quality Health Care. This authorization is determined by whether the hospital fulfills hundreds of evaluation indicators that JCQHC defines, and the examination consists of an on-site examination by the surveyor team and the examination of documents. This certificate was updated in 2004 and 2009 and 2014 based on the standards of new version.
Likewise, Jusendo-Kaguyama Hospital was accredited as having the demonstrated satisfactory compliance with the applicapable standards for chronic-phase hospital in 2001,and it was updated in 2006 based on the standards of new version. Jusendo-Kaguyama Hospital also got the certificate of a global-standard quality assurance system of ISO 9001 in 2001, and the environmental management system of ISO 14001 in 2002.
